Produce

All grown here on the farm!

Red Granite Farm strives to bring you the best quality locally grown produce. We grow produce on 4+ acres, including a 30’x96′ high tunnel. Produce is harvested daily during the busy season and stored in our walk-in cooler or temperature controlled packing shed to ensure safe handling and to maximize freshness.

We sell our produce here at the farm during our open hours or through our online order form. We are also vendors at the Ames Main Street Farmers Market from mid-June through October each Saturday morning.

Honey from Beyer’s Bees is  available at the farm and through the produce order form. Thank you for supporting local!

Gift Cards can be ordered on the Produce Order Form. We can mail them to the giver or recipient. Or, arrangements can be made to pick them up at the farm.

2024 Abundance Share Program

Abundance Shares are for August, September and October 2024. Pay once in the spring and enjoy the abundance this summer.

Once a month pick-up is $135 if paid by cash or check. Email us at [email protected] to place your order and for info about sending the check. $145 if you’d like to pay with credit card on the Payments tab of our website.

Twice a month is $270 if paid by cash or check. Email us at [email protected] to place your order and for info about sending the check. $280 if you’d like to pay with credit card on the Payments tab of our website.

Each month you will get 1 box of RGF fruits and veggies-selected by RGF- based on what’s the most abundant. Each box will contain a $45 value of 4-5 different types of fruits and veggies. If you pay for twice a month, you will get to pick up twice a month! A google form is sent out on Sunday evening each week, giving you the list of what is likely to be in the box that week. You then fill out the form letting us know what day and time you’d like to pick up, so we can have it all ready for you! Pick up is at RGF only (not the farmers market).

Here’s what produce could be included each month:
