It has been a month since my last post, where has the time gone??  I sincerely apologize, but I do have a few good excuses.  The first and biggest one being that our hard drive crashed and every photo, document, and file from the last year and a half are gone (unless the Geek Squad manages a miracle)!  The other excuses include watering, weeding, planting and harvesting…all so we can bring a great product to you at the market.

Strawberry season was short and sweet, but we are going to be harvesting broccoli for tomorrow’s market.

As always we’ll have our Farm Fresh Brown Eggs and cartloads of hardy perennials.  The nice rains we’ve gotten lately should have made your perennial beds easy to work in, so come find some fillers for those bare spots.  Here’s what’s looking good right now:

Twilight Veronica

Grand Parade Bee Balm

Starfire Tall Garden Phlox

Husker Red Penstemon

Kim’s Knee High Coneflower with Zagreb Coreopsis foliage

Hummelo Lamb’s Ear with Coronation Gold Yarrow in the background.

I can help you select one or two plants as fillers or help you design an entire perennial border.  I have lots more to choose from than what you see here. See you at the market just north of JCPenny’s at North Grand Mall.  Saturday’s 8am–1pm and Wednesday’s 3–6pm.
