This hosta is a sport of the famous large leaved Hosta ‘Sagae’ (pronounced seg-way). It boasts wide, jetting, yellow margins which lighten to creamy white. The leaves are thick, which provide better slug resistance. It has lavender flowers in early to mid-summer. It will mature to 26″ tall and 40″ wide.

Past Hosta Growers Association Hostas of the Year include:

  • 2011—’Praying Hands’
  • 2010—’First Frost’
  • 2009—’Earth Angel’
  • 2008—’Blue Mouse Ears’

  • 2006—’Stained Glass’
  • 2005—’Striptease’
  • 2004—’Sum & Substance’
